Pizza Volante
About This Spot
Nestled right along the lively stretch of Session Road in Baguio, Pizza Volante unfolds as an inviting spot where the city's familiar hum blends effortlessly with the warm aroma of freshly baked dough. From the moment you step inside, there’s a comforting ease to the place — a casual nook where time slows just enough to savor simple pleasures and friendly smiles.
The space carries a quietly bustling charm, with an atmosphere that strikes a balance between a neighborhood pizza joint and a laid-back gathering place. Whether you settle near the windows to watch the ebb and flow of passersby or climb up to the more intimate second level, you’ll find a pace that encourages relaxed conversation and genuine connection.
The menu reflects this effortless approach, offering comfort without fuss. Here, pizzas arrive generously topped with thoughtfully blended ingredients — like the fresh, vibrant notes of roasted pimentos and basil mingling with earthy mushrooms and broccoli, or the rich harmony of cheeses that invite sharing. Beyond pizza, the dishes extend to hearty, homey flavors: from grilled chicken to classic pastas, and sweet endings such as warm apple pie crowned with silky vanilla ice cream—a particular favorite for those seeking a quiet moment of indulgence.
What resonates most is the friendly, attentive service that makes you feel less like a customer and more like a welcome guest. The staff’s warmth complements the food’s honest appeal, fostering a sense of community in the heart of Baguio’s brisk cityscape.
Pizza Volante feels like a thoughtful pause, a place where everyday comfort meals meet simple joys, making it a quietly cherished stop for locals and visitors alike.

After trailing the Yellow Trail in CJH, we went to Session and looked for a place to eat, luckily we found Pizza Volante with an available seat. We ordered just pizza and lasagna but we ended up full and satisfied. Our bill is just close to 800 pesos.

Quaint local pizza shop located in the middle of the Baguio Session Road. We ordered a mixed vegetarian dream pizza & Kenny George Pizza, french fries and hot calamansi for drinks. They serve generous portion of fresh vegetables and when I asked for parmesan, they poured lots of it - which made me so happy! Thank you Pizza Volante and the rest of the staff Ate Nori and Ate Eloisa

First time trying and overall dining experience is really good! Food is excellent! Very good pricing for the food quality. Staffs here are all friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back again.

The food is simple, uncomplicated, but hits the spot. The price is affordable too! With the view of session road and people watching, the dining experience is very pleasant. Highly recommended yung apple pie nila. Some people just come here for cocktails while watching out the windows.

Pizza Volante is indeed a popular choice for both tourists and locals. After several visits to Baguio, I finally had the chance to try the original branch! We were in a rush at first because seating seemed limited, but I later discovered the place has two levels. Everything we ordered tasted great, except for the pizza, which felt a bit underbaked. Of the three Volante branches, I’d say this one is my least favorite. Its location at the heart of the famous Session Road, however, still makes it stand out.
